The Very 1st Fish Mom Flog!

It just seems to makes sense the if this was going to be a place for me to share my Fish-Momming Stories it should be called a FLOG, aka, fishing log. There is a lot more to share here, but this website is a start! I had a sudden Aha! moment this year, with the covid craziness and unrest in our country, that fishing was something that could still bring people together. I started following fishing groups on social media and was so inspired. I was also invited to help out with a Social Distancing Online Fishing Group and it was fantastic! Seeing people enjoying the outdoors, tournaments were cancelled and kids were bored staying inside so families were out fishing together, it was so beautiful I am getting tears in my eyes just thinking about it as I type.

In my head, I thought that I liked fishing, I thought that I have been involved with fishing since my son is very involved with it...but this spring/summer, I realized that I actually love every part of fishing...the challenge, the next PB, being outside, the comradery of the fishing community, the big smiles on little kids faces when they reel a fish in no matter how big or small. So I set a couple of goals. First, I am going to support my son and allow him to pursue his dreams of fishing professionally. Second, I am going work on my own dreams and work at things that bring me joy. Both of these things are centered around fishing...step one: build a website, sell some fish shirts and start a FLOG. More to come, so much more : )
